Random playlist

this is more of a query than a suggestion....

is there anyway that we can stop the random playlist when DJs wanna go live and there is no one about to stop it??? theres been loadsa times that djs have wanted to hava live mix and not been able too becoz of the random. is there a way mr dubya that u can make it so our connection overpowers random playlist???? please help!!!

I think im right in saying we are trying to find a way that you can interrupt the stream to do youre sets but as it stands theres no way you can bump random off so to speak!!! but it is summink we are working on.

We appreciate theres times where dj`s want to play on spur of the moments like last night but then you all have to appreciate the fact that we all work fulltime and have lives too and cannot be around 24/7 as much as we would like to.

Hold tight tho and we are working on a way you can stop stream automatically Very Happy

yeah Dubyas working on summink new for the random playlist so will sort summink out so everyones sets will be played

haha lol i dint expect u n dubya 2 b constantly stay awake drinkin coffee and doin other stuff so u can turn random off if there just so happens to be a time wen wen we want to go live lol. jus sum way that registerd djs can overpower the random playlist....? maybe run it from the site in the DJs only bit of the forum?? if thats possible i dont know im dumb with computers lol.

as far as i know that isnt possible , there is a way of dj`s being able to interupt the stream so they can play its just finding out how and putting it into practise all these things take time and we are working on it Very Happy

This is impossible with windows media encoder atm , our hosts are trying to make something to do it but it will take time . I can remotely stop the server at any resonable time within 5 - 10 minutes which i have said and done b4 ? , all dj's should have my mobile number and only have to ring me if they want to play i, if u havent ask someone or msn or pm me and i will give it to u , i can even stop it via my phone so dont hesistate to call me , just not at 2am please lol .
