I know someone who gets people like Drumsound, Taxman, Garry K and MCs Biggie, Juiceman and Presha on his station he does this by charging the resident djs a small fee £2.50 for an hour £5 for 2 and then when he gets enough cash he pays a big dj too play on the station!! This is good because you will get instant listeners!! They have had 3000 before just goes too show if this inrterests you i might be able too sort you someone out!!

Ez m8, Good idea but i think as theres so many Internet radio stations out there that are free to play on We cannot start charging our DJ's. I see where ya coming from as all the pirate FM stations I have played on charge there DJ's hourly. But thats having the pleasure of playing out over the FMdial and broadcasting to London town over the airwaves. Usually the dj can reclaim monies back by doing his own jingle CD of ads which then he can charge them if the management allow.

When we started subbassfm we said from the beginning we wouldnt and couldnt charge dj`s to play ive never agreed with it before and would never do it if we want subbassfm to be big then thats through our own hard work , thats my personal view

to be honest i wudnt dj on ere if i had to pay purely becoz im broke!!! wud b good to get big DJs on the station tho but tht will come in time i rekon!
